been a long time since i got to get ahold of a kit, build and finish it- which i havent been able to do for quite some time due to severe work constraints...

anyway, the latest craze in the local scale modelling scene is the Hobby Boss M706; got a few of them but never got to go beyond buidling a few parts here and there and comparing it with my old V100 from Verlinden  ( thanks Homerboy) and its clone from frank...

hopefully something can be done out of this thing i started... Shocked

Finally m706 arrived,  thanks Jep. Mas mahal pala yung shipping compared to the kit. TY ng marami

have to compare it right away to the verlinden v100. HB is longer and wider and sits taller than verlinden.

Look on the bright side! You can get the version with the 90mm gun turret and use it on the V-300 FSV.

jkrn,

i understand your frustration, but 4 versions of hobby boss? alam ko 3 lang, t50 turret, 90mm meckar turret and 90mm cockerhill turret,

i think hobby boss did not include the 1meter turret bec. I have not seen a 1meter turret in a short version v150hull to date.  this is the only picture that i saw with a 1m turret in a short hull. NOTICE the rear of the turret

jaison,

magaganda yung gawa mo keep it up, tama ka 90mm can be used to make the v300

btw, you can make this a v100 hull or the early v150 hull but not the stretched version.

extra parts are the following.  photoshopped from pmms

1.  driver's hatches  hinge and pivoting type
2.  wheel rims for the 6 bolt v100 early type and 12 bolt v150
3.  exhaust vent covers for the v100 and v150
4.  radio operator square hatch v100 and round raised type for the v150
5.  not pictured  is the driver's v shaped vision blocks

thanks for the heads up jkrn.   4 pala.  Lets really enjoy this v150 from hobby boss .

I went to look at the test shots sa IPMS BAC and you can actually build the 20mm and 90mm on the mecar turret. LOOK closely sa 2 bottom mecar sprues. Looks like there is a 90mm barrel next to the 20mm barrel. in the center of the sprue on top of the light casing and on the right of the m240mg beer

Light Armor

V150 .50 Cal - Dr. P getting instructions on how to operate it. Spare barrel hanged at the roof

This is the 2nd (original [short] version) V150 [T50 turret] that I've seen that is still currently operational with the LAD...  The kit can be slightly modified to look like this.
