The following photo of the PMC Commandant and staff just came in

Past photos c/o MBLT6

This is the most that we can offer at the moment. From down south.

PMC plans to field its digital camo BDAs this year. Initially with Force Recon. Regular MBLTs will follow.

IMHO, its about time for the change. The present Marine camo is of late'70's-early '80's vintage, and its age shows when compared to present-day camo schemes.

I think this is much better than the previous design ... yung dati parang 3 colors lang halos wlang brown ako makita, tsaka yung dati malaki yung mga squares pero ngayon mas maliit at mas distorted ang dating ...

I think this is a very good design ... talaga lang dapat magtiwala sa kakayanan ng kapwa natin Pilipino ... kaya naman natin eh ..

Looks like a digitized version of the old camo, which wasn't exactly ineffective. thumbs up

Very nice! How does this Camo stacks up against other Nation's Marine Camos? Mas "cute" ba yung sa atin?  Very Happy

hOORAH!NICE NICE NICE!I was even asking Sir A on it beeing the final BDU on the other thread, kasi it was still getting tested. I like it a lot, very effcetive kasi all the intentions of a digitalized camo, they got it right and even more.

Compared to other countires Marine BDU's?im not that impressed. The US Marimne MARPAT doesnt suit well on our setting, they mixed all the color palettes to make it neutral in any setting which is ok, be they in Iraq or RP. But the pixels they have are too big, you can see them still and figure out. The Indonesians and Thai's have their new camo too, but they got the palettes all wrong because nagmukha silang may tigerstripe figures sa malayu due to same colored pixels too closed in together and they formed big patterns instead. The only BDU i can say that is cool is the Singaporean one. Just check it out, nice palette colors and small pixels on a nice velrcro BDU. Halos similar ang kanila sa PMC here, but the PMC is darker, of which i would agree na dapat darker ang camo nila.

I just hope the PA and the entire AFP will follow suit, the PA can have a lighter camo compared to the PMC, and the PAF can have a blue version di ba?the PNPSAF camo also looks cool, pangurban or rural setting talaga beer

To be fair, the PA reportedly released its own digital camo around the same time as the PMC, if not before.

A Timawan in GHQ sent word, in response to this thread, that its currently in use/testing with the LRB, and features a mandarin collar like the US BDU.
