Can a TCM AR upper be far behind?  There's already an FN 5.7 upper but it needs those crazy magazines.

The more platforms for the TCM cartridge, the odds will probably be better that it won't be a flash-in-the pan item.

A TCM equivalent to this would be . . . interesting

A very rare Tippmann half-scale Ma Deuce in .22 magnum. Cool!

Anything chambered in 9mm Luger may be chambered in .22 TCM. Great possibilities for a PDW. From a pistol, recoil is nil, though it's about as loud as an M4, with a nice big fireball from the muzzle. I had the pleasure of firing one in Marikina.

Agree. It shouldn't be hard, probably the only thing to make is the chamber.

Hmm... took the words right out of my mouth sir. Something along the lines of an MP7 pattern gun... Compact enough to be concealable but with the 22 TCM rounds which can produce rifle-like velocities, it will probably be very deadly.

What's interesting is that the 22 TCM's rounds are actually heavier than the 4.6mm rounds on the MP7 while maintaining roughly the same velocity(40 grains on the standard 22TCM vs. 31 grains on the 4.6mm)... with a properly designed steel core variant, it could possibly do much more terminal damage on target.

damn meeting lasted longer than it should! :( now sorry i wasn't able to test it today. maybe on friday. anyway.....

@ mamiyapis- i definitely agree! a steel core variant could definitely be a man stopper.

How can a steel cored bullet be a definite man stopper?  :?:

@miggye

Let me clarify... the 22TCM if produced with a steel core round, in my mind, would be more effective as an armor penetrator while maintaining more energy into the target due to it's larger mass. Probably if made into a hollow point round, or something along the lines of the 55-grain M193, it might possibly  be considered more of a man-stopper... but as a steel-core round, it would be a hole-puncher than  the perceived freight train of energy.
