The Philippine Army is announcing the recruitment of Candidate Soldiers (CS) for the year 2013

In a Letter Directive dated 11 February 2013, the Army has approved the CS quota of 3,000 recruits who will be trained in the various training institutions nationwide.

 The order of priority for recruitment are as follows:
 1. Qualified professionals;
 2. Graduates of MS43 and Advanced ROTC;
 3. College graduates;
 4. With 72 units in college
 5. High school graduates who have technical and/or vocational skills that are supported by a certification from the employer or at least 1 year work experience.


The quota and processing dates for the CS training is shown in the table below:

Sir,

Are we hiring more soldiers or is this just a "normal" annual recruitment to maintain the present strenght of the AFP?
The Philippines is on it's way up, please do not elect people that will drag it back down!

Sunday 17th of February 2013 TweetFacebookYahooEmailShareThis LARENA, Siquijor, Feb 17 (PIA) -- The Philippine Army (PA) calls on young Siquijor residents to join the army and register for the examinations on March 2 at 8 a.m. at the Siquijor Capital Square, Siquijor, Siquijor.

Army Recruitment Office-Visayas, Sgt. Wenceslao Cainglet, said this is the first time that the PA comes to Siquijor to offer the exam because it saw in the past, young residents had been coming to Manila to take the exam. "We want to help interested individuals from spending much for their travel, Cainglet added.

So instead of applicants going to Cebu or Manila, officers of the Philippine Army bring the exam to the island.
