REUMECH OMC CASSPIR Mk3 APC

Considered the international benchmark for mine protection. Offers high mobility, ease of handling and crew comfort. Over 2000 have been produced and these serve in the armed forces of South Africa, India and Peru, among many others.

Originally developed for the rigorous conditions of South Africa, Casspir, with its V-shaped armored hull, is certified to protect its occupants against the effects of a triple TM-57 mine blast equivalent to 21kg of TNT) under any wheel, or a double mine (14kg of TNT) anywhere under the hull. Doors in the rear of the hull allow easy access. The Casspir is highly regarded for its outstanding cross-country mobility and for its reliability, although India has expressed reservations about the refurbished vehicles it acquired.
